“Shabdika Software” is a terminological glossary of words used in the arena of administration, banking & information technology. In its persistence towards proliferation of Indian languages on ICT platform, TDIL programme had initiated a project with CDAC (Noida) & CSTT to introduce a comprehensive digital glossary for three domains under the project titled “Design and development of electronic bilingual Information Technology Terminology”. The vision of the project is to encourage validly admissible Hindi terminology for functional & administrative working of the three domains.

Shabdika software has derived its base from, two sources viz., Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), Ministry of HRD for Administrative & IT glossary and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for Banking glossary. These digitalized glossaries have always worked as ready references for official communication in Hindi, especially for IT, administrative & banking terminology.
