Action Week for Global Information Sharing, Delhi, India
The vision of AGIS is to make translation & localization tools & technologies freely available which will enable citizens of all nations & languages to gain access to knowledge. The AGIS week is divided into two parts. The first part (01-04 Dec) a pre-conference event will be devoted to training in localization. The second part (06-07 Dec) will focus on human networking, talks, presentations, posters and debates in the best tradition of AGIS.

The Ninth International Workshop on Treebanks and Linguistic Theories-TLT9, Tartu, Estonia
The workshop invites submissions that discuss relevant innovative work in treebanking, including the relations & links between, & possibly merging of, various aspects of morphological, syntactic, semantic, & pragmatic annotation; submissions describing work on parallel treebanks or cross-language annotation schemas, on the relation between linguistic theory & practice of annotation & on applications of information in treebanks are encouraged.
